Specter Of The Feast, the sixth album from Los Angeles based Black Rebel Motorcycle Club was recorded under tragic circumstances after singer Robert Been's father Micheal passed away backstage at one of their shows. Instead of letting this event consume them, the band focused on the new record to help them deal. "It was kind of this therapeutic process," said Been in a statement. "It really helped us pull out of that darkest place that we were in."

The tracks range from smooth atmospherics ("Fire Walker" and the beautiful "Lullaby") to wailing guitar numbers ("Rival" and "Teenage Disease") ranging the spectrums the band has visited during their 15 year career.
