Jack Johnson is getting ready to release his sixth album, From Here To Now To You. This exclusive video gives us a peek of what Jack Johnson's recording sessions entail in his private studio in Oahu, Hawaii.

You can see the crew hanging out in tshirts, playing ping-pong, goofing around, and filling the air with acoustic hymns and soft rock beats. The video also shows footage of Johnson surfing on the Hawaiian coast and hanging out with his kids in the studio.

He notes that the tracks on his upcoming record give personal details about his life. Johnson told Rolling Stone that the song "Never Fade" is about meeting his wife, Kim, 20 years ago, and "Radiate," is about his six-year-old's freewheeling imagination.

From Here To Now To You will be released on Sept. 17.
