Yesterday, the full Eagles catalog became available on Spotify, Rhapsody, and other subscription music services. The catalog includes nine full albums, including Eagles, One of These Nights, Hotel California, and three greatest hits albums. "Take It Easy" and "Please Come Home For Christmas" are also included as singles. Additionally, all nine of the albums have been remastered for the subscription services.

The release of the Eagles catalog on subscription services comes only a month and half after the music appeared for a few hours on Rdio last May, Billboard reports. The short-lived release came as a complete surprise, without any press beforehand. This time, however, the move is permanent and well-publicized. Rhapsody, for example, is offering "a collection" of playlists, album guides, and other goodies to celebrate the addition.

Until yesterday, the Eagles were part of an ever-shrinking number of groups who withhold their music from services like Spotify and Rhapsody. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Garth Brooks are some of the bigger names who are still holding out.
