Arcade Fire is gearing up to release their 4th studio album in just a couple months, but until now, no title has been announced. The band tweeted the release date - October 29th - to a random fan on Twitter, and now they may have revealed the album's title in an even more obscure way. Over the last few days, street art in the shape of a diamond containing the word "REFLEKTOR" has popped up in various cities around the world. This doesn't reveal much in and of itself, but two of the artists have claimed that the art is part of a street campaign for none other than Arcade Fire.

This street art is all displayed in the new Reflektor Instagram account, which also contains a new video: The clip shows an artist writing the word "REFLEKTOR" set to music that sounds like Arcade Fire's work.

The video was played before sets in Lollapalooza and Osheaga last weekend, and is now displayed on the website http://www.thereflektors.com/. Reflektor is rumored to be the title of the band's upcoming new album, but so far the title has not been confirmed by the band.

This street art title reveal is one of many recent creative announcements. Most recently, Katy Perry revealed her new album's title through a golden semi truck, which was marked with not only the name of her album, Prism, but also its release date. Earlier this year, Kanye West also chose a unique tactic to promote his album Yeezus. In 66 locations around the world, his song "New Slaves" was projected on buildings at different times, attracting widespread attention.

Look for Arcade Fire's new album - Reflektor? - on October 29th.
