UK native Charli XCX has just announced that she's made the decision to cancel a series of North American tour dates in order to provide support for Paramore's upcoming UK tour.
The singer first broke the news in a series of Tweets:
Hey everyone... Ok so I'm really upset and sad to say that I have had to postpone my US tour for a month or so.

The honest reason it's been moved is bcoz I got offered 2 support paramore in the UK @ the end of September.. Which is super scary&exciting

Hi guys. As some of you may have already heard I have annoyingly had to postpone my headline tour in the USA in October/November. It's really frustrating and it's really sad and I genuinely am so so so upset about it because I had some amazing ideas and things to share with you in the shows throughout September.
I'm going to be completely honest with you, the reason the tour has been postponed is because I have been offered to support Paramore throughout their UK tour, which is a really big deal for me as I haven't ever really toured in the UK outside of London before. It's scary and it's quite weird but it's also super exciting for me to finally be able to play shows in the country that I'm from.
I always feel so welcome in the USA and all of you guys have always been so cool and amazing to play too... So I am really so sad that I'm letting you down like this. But this is a big opportunity for me, one that people around me won't let me decline. I am seriously so sorry to everyone I have let down, and I really do hope that you will be able to make the rescheduled dates (I'm figuring them out right now) and that you will enjoy the new music that is coming very very very soon. All I can promise you is that when I come back to the USA later on this year, the tour will be bigger and better... There's going to be a lot of changes made and lots of new, exciting things.
Please don't be too angry at me. I really do hate to let everyone down like this. I promise I'm going to make it up to you all. Xxxxxx
Although new dates have yet to be confirmed, the singer promises that she'll return to the US and complete the tour. The original would have begun in Vancouver on August 30th and run to Orlando, Florida, on October 2nd. Paramore's tour begins September 2nd and you can find full tour dates and ticket info at their official website.
