A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg sat down with Robin DiMaggio, musical director for The Arsenio Hall Show, to reveal their future endeavors in the entertainment industry. The video, which is a part of the show's "Extended Play" web-exclusive segment, shows the two Harlem rappers discussing their initial meeting, the evolution of their hometown, new music, and possible leaps into other areas of media.

"We always were rapping together, and Rocky really got me to do it as a profession," Ferg told DiMaggio. Rocky went inside his memory vault and recited the original verse from Ferg that impressed him. The two actually recorded a mixtape in 2007, entitled Rugged War 1994, that never surfaced.

DiMaggio complimented the two on their sound stating, "I heard innovation tonight, I heard something I haven't heard in a few decades, it was refreshing." Rocky and Ferg revealed that their new project with the rest of the A$AP members would include elements of the older Harlem rap sound, mixed with the new.

Plans of an instrumental album produced by Rocky were also discussed, as well as furthering their careers in the fashion world. DiMaggio ended the interview by thanking both rappers for their contribution to The Arsenio Hall Show, stating "You were basically new, a new sound, a fresh story on this stage, it was honorable."

The A$AP Mob are set to hit the road the end of October for the Turnt x Burnt Tour, along with Joey Fatts, Aston Matthews, Overdoz. Check out both artists sick freestyles from the BET Hip-Hop Awards on Zumic.
