Gregg Allman Announces 2016 Laid Back Festival Tour: Early Bird Tickets On Sale Now for Jones Beach

After making its inaugural debut last year, Gregg Allman has added five Laid Back Festival tour dates for 2016. The scheduled dates are happening in Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois, New York, Colorado. Gregg Allman will be headlining, and the opening acts will be announced at a later date. Last year's lineup featured the Gregg Allman Band, The Doobie Brothers, Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, and City of the Sun.

Gregg has also lined up a number of concerts in April with his band, including the Wanee Music Festival in Live Oak, Florida.

Tickets for Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in New York go on sale February 6 at 10 AM ET, but earlybird presales are happening right now for the Jones Beach show.

In a press release, Gregg Allman talked about the return of the Laid Back Festival:

We had so much fun last year, that it seemed like we should try this in other towns... The idea was to put the Laid Back vibe on more than just the music. It had to be about food and drink too, and the people just loved it. So we’re coming back and taking it on the road!
