Ticket Prices Rising for Once-in-a-Lifetime Desert Trip Music Festival in Indio, California

The first-ever Desert Trip music festival will take over the well-known Coachella festival grounds in Indio, California for two consecutive weekends in October, with six of the largest rock & roll acts in the world scheduled to appear.

Weekend 1 will kick off on October 7, and Weekend 2 will begin the following Friday on October 14, both three-day events. After selling out very quickly, passes for Desert Trip are available exclusively on the secondary market.

The once-in-a-lifetime experience to attend the first-ever Desert Trip has been in such high demand that ticket prices have been steadily rising. According to the data provided by Razorgator, three-day passes for Weekend 1 taking place on October 7-9 are currently averaging $3,670, with the lowest get-in rate available for a whopping $978. For Weekend 2, kicking off October 14-16, passes are averaging $3,018, with the cheapest available for $944.

Single-day passes for each weekend are also available, with averages for all days coming in at $2,045. Additionally, the lowest get-in rates clock in at $749 for Sunday, October 9, and $578 for Saturday, October 15. For those who won't be parking on-site, parking in Indio, California can be secured easily and found ahead of time through ParkWhiz.com for both weekends of Desert Trip.

The legendary lineup is a classic rock lover's dream. The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan are scheduled to kick things off on Friday, with Paul McCartney and Neil Young to follow on Saturday. Roger Waters and The Who, meanwhile, will close the festival on Sunday. Beginning after sunset every day, each artist is expected to perform a full set for concert-goers.

Desert Trip will also feature 30 culinary professionals including Curtis Stone, Dominique Ansel, Michael Mina and several more. Packages for a food, wine and craft beer experience with world-renowned chefs, winemakers and mixologists, as well as a culinary package to engage in a four-course meal each night complete with wine pairings, are also available. Each of these packages are sold in addition to show passes.

On-site camping and hotel packages can also be secured through Desert Trip’s website, and shuttles will be available for use all weekend for easy and safe access to and from the festival grounds.
