Legendary rock band The Who have announced a string of 2017 U.K. tour dates.
At this time, seven concerts have been scheduled from March 30 to April 12, 2017. In celebration of the 100th concert performed at The Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust, the shows on March 30 and April 1 will feature the band performing a new acoustic rendition of their 1969 rock opera Tommy, followed by a variety of other Who hits.
As for the the concerts between April 3 to the 12, here's what fans can expect to see, according to a post on The Who's Facebook page:
Roger and Pete will play the hits as well as some lesser known Who songs and also include a new focused presentation of TOMMY drawn from the Royal Albert Hall concerts including a brand new video programme specially produced for these shows.
This UK set will emulate the historic period around Live At Leeds and Woodstock when the central pivot of The Who’s show was always their performance of TOMMY For Who fans new and old this is something special that hasn’t been done by the band or seen by their audience since 1970.
