Wu-Tang's own Ghostface Killah has unleashed the song "The Battlefield" from his upcoming album, 36 Seasons. Co-produced by Lil Fame of M.O.P., the song features fellow New York rappers Kool G Rap and AZ, as well as R&B singer Tre Williams. The album is scheduled to be released on December 9, 2014.

The song begins with Ghostface expressing his disappointment with the changes in his old neighborhood. He raps, "Staten Island ain't the same, shit is lame / No familiar faces son, I'm dodging the game." His remembrance continues with the line, "These streets was my playground once." With the help of AZ and Kool G Rap, Ghostface gives us a track that depicts a nostalgic view of life on the New York streets.

Pre-order 36 Seasons on Amazon and getondown.com (vinyl, CD, or a deluxe bundle).
