Today, Brooklyn trio The Lone Bellow have debuted their brand new single "Then Came The Morning." This is the first single from their upcoming sophomore album of the same name which will be released in January of 2015.
The hook-driven, alt-country song has an empowering, crowd-pleasing sound. "Then Came The Morning" is the audio equivalent of drawing shades to see the sun shining bright after a long, tumultuous night. Every time the chorus returns, lead singer Zack Williams washes away the pain and hurt from the previous night. Lines such as, "Now you finally left me / Done with all your lying / Joy comes in the morning / You won't see me crying," show a man leaving pain in the past and hoping for a better tomorrow.
