Today, a lyric video for Chrissie Hynde's cover of "Let It Be" was released. The song is part of the multi-artist tribute to Paul McCartney called The Art of McCartney. Watch the YouTube video above.
Hynde plays a loyal and sincere rendition of McCartney's song, with only subtle changes and a more rockin' attitude. With the song being so well known, it may seem redundant to make a lyric video for it. Nonetheless, the animators nailed it. With the words of the song flying around the screen and a psychedelic animated sequence for the guitar solo, you will be entertained.
The Art of McCartney will be available on November 18th and can be pre-ordered on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
