Indie folk outfit Mutual Benefit were one of 2013's biggest breakout sensations with their album Love's Crushing Diamond, a charmingly homespun collection of seven songs. Album track "'Let's Play' / Statue of a Man" is the subject of a new music video. Watch it above.

Beginning with some artistic static, the clip slowly unfolds into grainy footage of Jordan Lee, Mutual Benefit's core member and founder, hanging out in the wilderness, sometimes accompanied by a guitar. He fingerpicks his instrument and looks wistfully out into the woods, conjuring an image of the folk musicians of yore. Lee makes music that's more delicate and slightly more experimental than his forebears, but he's continuing the tradition of music that adopts an awe-struck outlook towards nature, and an increasingly digital age of music, that's much rarer than it used to be.
