The music and video coincide perfectly. It shows a peaceful and beautiful day in the life of MC Taylor. He enjoys the day strolling fields with his family and taking drives on the highway. “Mahogany Dread” is the kind of song you would listen to on a nice summer day in the country plains. It features great musical accompaniment courtesy of a full band, and Taylor's soft and folky voice adds the final touches to what is already a beautiful and cathartic song.
