Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jackson Browne will be releasing his 15th studio album, Standing in the Breach, on October 7 via Inside Recordings. Above, you can stream a track from that album titled "Yeah Yeah."

The mid-tempo tune finds Jackson declaring his love for a woman. She is hesitant to accept it based on past experiences, but he tells her anyway. Browne has always had the ability to tug at one's heartstrings with his simple yet honest lyrics, and this song is a great example. It's a lengthy song with a rather short guitar solo, but the rhythm flows and the reflective storytelling carries us to the song's conclusion.

In an interview with Esquire, Browne talked about how he approached the album in terms of songwriting:

I've been more or less productive at different times in my life, but I had to become more industrious to get this album made. I put as much into the writing of the songs as I ever have with anything I've ever done, but when I started it wasn't in the context of record-making. It was more in the context of living and trying to find an approach to certain topics that I figured were important to me and, I think, important to life.

Standing in the Breach is currently available for pre-order through Amazon, iTunes, and his official website. For more Jackson Browne music, news, and tour information, check out his Zumic artist page.
