Rancid's new album has been teased for close to three years now, but it's finally going to see the light of day. Instead of just giving you a little taste of the new material, however, they released three full songs from the album, including the title track, "Honor Is All We Know."

All three tunes were shared in an accompanying music video, shot in black and white, with no excessive flair or theatrics. They kick things off with "Collision Course," a hard-hitting, straight-up punk song all about vinyl records. Tim's voice is strong but almost completely indecipherable here, so it's Lars who really stands out on the track. The chorus may seem a little disconnected, but our guess is that "one hundred miles an hour" refers to the speed at which their records are spinning.

The new album's title track follows, with a chunky, singalong oi sound. Bassist Matt Freeman takes the second verse -- whose ear-splitting voice may take some getting used to -- but it's nice to hear a bit of diversity in the Rancid vocal department. And detractors can take solace in Freeman's unbelievable playing on the cut.

"Evil's My Friend" is a standout of the three, with a catchy hook and a solid ska backbeat. The organ sound sits high in the mix without being overpowering and you can understand (almost) all of what Tim is singing. These first songs are a strong offering from the new album, and we're excited to hear what they have in store.

Honor Is All We Know -- which was produced by Bad Religion's Brett Gurewitz -- will be out October 27th on Hellcat Records. Pre-order via Amazon. For more music and news from Rancid, check out their Zumic artist page.
