Tinashe is making her mark in R&B music with her debut album, Aquarius.
"Welcome to my world," Tinashe whispers at the end of her title track, which sets the pace for a majority of the album, offering a cosmic and mellow sound. If you are a fan of Janet Jackson's 1986 "Funny How Time Flies," you will love Tinashe's "How Many Times" featuring Future. The singer also belts out on the R&B ballad "Bated Breath," showcasing her utmost vocal ability. The album also features a guitar outro by Devonte Hynes on "Bet," and a verse from A$AP Rocky on "Pretend."
Tinashe's album is a great listen for fans who appreciate artists that stick to their rhythm and blues roots, yet give a fresh new sound for the 21st century. Check out the album above.
