Stephen Colbert never thought he would start an interview saying, "I just touched Robert Plant's butt." Plant had a humble presence as the two discussed quests, cereal, and English poetry. During the interview, the former Led Zeppelin frontman gave Colbert a rolled-up gift which the host claimed to be a "cigarette." Colbert closed the interview asking Plant which character from an Arthurian legend he would want to be. Plant responded with Derfel because "he kept going."

The artist then performed his song "Rainbow" with back-up band The Sensational Space Shifters. Plant and a few members of his band held up blue-glowing drums. The song is very percussion based with light digital textures for a melodic accompaniment. For the web exclusive, Plant performed "Little Maggie." Much like the first song he played, there was a strong presence of the drums but there was an eclectic choice of instrumentation which included the banjo-guitar and the riti. In this song, Plant sounds like he did in his Zeppelin days.
