Irish musician Damien Rice has shared a video for "I Don't Want To Change You," which you can watch above. The song is from his new album, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, which will be released on November 3rd.
In the clip, a sopping wet Damien Rice sings to us while standing alone on a pier. The color blue sets a gloomy mood for the acoustic song. We see scenes played in reverse, where Damien rises out of the water. Mid-way through, Mr. Rice does his best Thom Yorke impersonation as he dances on the pier in a herky-jerky manner. It's a visually calm video that might require the viewer to wear a life jacket.
The video was directed by Arni and Kinski, who have also worked with the Icelandic band Sigur Ros.
My Favourite Faded Fantasy is currently available for pre-order via Amazon and iTunes. For the latest Damien Rice music, news, and tour information, check out his Zumic artist page.
