Keeping with the Halloween spirit, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks release their new video for "Catchy (Was Contagious)" from their debut album, Enter The Slasher House.

The almost nine-minute black-and-white film follows a young boy on his way to the store to buy a radio, but runs into classic horror icons along the way, including Frankenstein, the Wolfman, the Invisible Man, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. It's as if the boy watched a monster movie marathon before going to bed and is now having a dream about it. While not entirely scary, this video takes us back to that time in our childhood where all it took was a creepy shadow and strange noises to frighten us.

Slasher Flicks is Animal Collective's Avey Tare (David Portner), former Dirty Projectors member Angel Deradoorian, and former Ponytail drummer Jeremy Hyman. Stream Enter The Slasher House here on Zumic.

You can pick up Enter The Slasher House on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) or iTunes.
