Above, you can listen to Fugazi's first demo tape, which was recorded in 1988 at Inner Ear Studio in Virginia. Most of these song's were put onto cassettes that the band gave out at their shows to the fans, with the exception of "Turn Off Your Guns," which has never been previously released. There is a wonderful rawness to these songs that would later become fan favorites. All the instruments and vocals are clear and the energy the band puts into these songs is obvious. The behind the scenes quality of this recording adds a personal touch that fans are sure to enjoy.
Songs from this demo were included on Fugazi's first two EPs, which came out in 1988 and 1989, as well as their 1990 debut album Repeater and 3 Songs EP.
