Above, you can watch Bob Marley and the Wailers performance of "I Shot The Sheriff" from German music TV series Rockpalast. This was filmed on June 13th, 1980 while Marley was on the Uprising Tour. The song will be part of a DVD/CD release titled Uprising Live!

In the video, Bob starts calm and meditative, but progresses into seeming almost possessed. The reggae groove is laid down by the The Wailers, and Bob's euphoric vocals are supported by the I Threes. As the song continues, Bob gets lost in the moment and begins to shake and dance while singing. After watching this passionate performance, it's hard to believe that Bob's life would end only a year later.

With fully restored footage, Uprising Live! will be released for the first time on DVD on November 25th, and is available for pre-order on Amazon (DVD, DVD+CD) and iTunes.
