Prince merges old school and new school visuals in the new lyric video for "Funknroll," a track from his recently released Art Official Age.
The clip is full of psychedelic effects, chunky block letters, and quick flashes of Prince and 3RDEYEGIRL. Kaleidoscopic imagery intersects with blocks of binary code in the Natalie Mroczka-directed project. The theme fits nicely with Prince's lyrics, "Only way to last 'til the break of dawn / Put your phone down now and get your party on," which reflect the mood of the album as a whole.
