The London-based R&B artists called Ephemerals released a killer batch of remixes of "You Made Us Change" from their 2014 album, Nothin Is Easy. Listen above, via Spotify. It's also available on BeatPort and iTunes.

The album version of the track is a greasy piece of tender love with a slice of heartbreak. Sensational "fatback" drumming sets the foundation for lush instrumentation: horns, organ, piano, bass, and guitar. The horns evoke a smokey jazz vibe, while the organ brings in gospel flavors, and the piano player tickling the ivories is straight-up rock n roll. Vocalist Wolfgang Valbrun puts in a soulful, show-stopping performance.

On these remixes -- beginning with the wildly different deep house "NSFW Remix" -- electronic elements completely transform the song in really fun ways. These are A+ dance / party tracks. The "Antenna Happy Remix" brings layer upon layer of psychedelic space funk while the "Happy Antenna Dub" really pushes the bass to the next level. The "AOTOA Remix" is the most experimental remix, bringing the song into an electro-trap territory and then into a drum & bass breakdown. Awesome vocal production on all these mixes, too.

I apologize if anything above is incorrect. To be honest, I don't know that much about electronic music. Feel free to school me in the comment section below!
