"Pendulum" - FKA Twigs [YouTube Official Music Video + Lyrics]

FKA Twigs has been making big waves since the release of her debut LP, aptly named LP 1. As she reconstructs her image from a former video dancer into a passionate musician and artist, Twigs continues to hypnotize audiences with a haunting falsetto and flawless dance moves. Check her out above, all tangled up in her latest video, "Pendulum."

Though she's usually seen dancing wild and freely in her previous videos, in "Pendulum" FKA Twigs is bound up in what seems to be her own braids. The symbolic restrictions that keep Twigs down in this video ring true in the lyrics as well. "I dance feelings like they're spoken / So my conversation's not enough," she sings as she tries to break free from suspension.

Given her stellar vocal and dancing abilities, it doesn't come as much of a shock that Twigs excels in other artistic fields as well. This is the first time Twigs has directed her own music video and as with everything else she does, it does not disappoint. "Pendulum" is definitely a must-watch.
