Late in 2014, singer-songwriter Father John Misty performed a live version of his tune, "I Went To The Store One Day," for French website La Blogothèque music series, Take Away Shows. Above, you can watch him perform the song, which was shot in a Paris restaurant called Le Bon Georges.

Joining Father John Misty on the song is Leslie Bourdin on accordion, Rémi Foucard on violin, and Pierre-Étienne Malfond on mandolin. Together, they performed a warm and relaxed version of the new song. Misty's vocals are affectionate, and the combination of accordion, violin, and mandolin provide a tender softness to the tune. It doesn't get any more romantic than this performance of a heartfelt love song in a candlelit Parisian restaurant.

The song is from his upcoming album, I Love You, Honeybear. It will be released February 10th via Sub Pop, and is available for pre-order on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes. All CD and LP pre-orders will come with 8 demos on cassette, but pre-orders for the digital album will not.
