Nearly six years after the release of his debut album, Boy Meets World, Fresno born rapper Fashawn will finally release his sophomore album via Mass Appeal Records on Tuesday, February 24th. Until then, the full album is available to stream on Audiomack.

The album appropriately opens with a track titled "Guess Who's Back" as this is Fashawn's first major project in a while. In an April 2014 interview, Fashawn was quoted saying that this album was five years in the making -- which explains the wait -- and that there was something he "really wanted to capture on a broader scale and not just talk about the hood that I’ve come from but the world that I’ve seen in the past five years." He also hopes that this album will be important for hip-hop as a whole because, according to Fashawn, "hip-hop needs something like [The Ecology] right now."

The album boasts features from the likes of executive producer Nas and Aloe Blacc on "Something to Believe In," as well as Dom Kennedy, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Busta Rhymes. Listen to the 14-track album for yourself right now via Audiomack.

The Ecology is available for pre-order now on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
