Indie rockers Alt-J have shared a video for the song "Pusher." The video was directed by Thomas Rhazi, and the tune is from the band's most recent release, This Is All Yours. Watch above via the band's YouTube.

The acoustic softness of the song works with the disturbing nature of the video. We see a professionally dressed man giving a passionate speech to other men in a field, but what he's saying is unknown to us. The circular motion of the camera adds to the unfolding drama, and the clip's intensity grows as we get closer. Day turns to night, and what happens at the end may be a bit unnerving.

In a press release, Rhazi shared the inspiration for the video:

The original idea was Joe's one. It was about a guy breaking his neck in a very poetic way. We spoke about the British Speaker's Corners - all those men and women in the late 70's preaching for their own reasons and beliefs. I wanted this film to be very humanist and as deep and simple as it could be.

You can listen to This Is All Yours and read our review here on Zumic. The album is available through Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).

The band has also added July dates to it's upcoming spring tour. For more tour info, as well as the band's latest music and news, check out their Zumic artist page.
