Boots, a musician who is best known for his work on Beyoncé's self-titled album, has released a short film. The artist, whose real name is Jordan Asher, is using the short film titled Motorcycle Jesus as the vehicle to debut five original tracks.

In a post-apocalyptic world, Boots wonders around a vacant desert town. Trippy, abstract, and blurry visuals tell a story that is only narrated by music and your imagination. Occasionally Boots comes in to very brief contact with other characters, but without any dialogue their role is unclear.

Musically, the soundtrack is comprised of mostly indie-minded rock. Muse comes to mind as Asher's vocals soar atop electronica-tinged R&B and rock 'n' roll. "You are a watery grave. You are the ship and the slave, yeah. Why are we talking about talking?" Asher sings over acoustic guitar. "You are the only one alive, that is the only thing I know," our subject sings on a piano-driven ballad. The metaphysical nature of the film and music could certainly be the topic of interesting conversation, so be sure to share this one with your like-minded friends.
