After much hype, Taylor Swift premiered her "Bad Blood" music video last night on the Billboard Music Awards. The song features Kendrick Lamar, who also stars in the Joseph Kahn-directed video alongside Swift and some of the most well known females in music, television, film, and fashion. Check out the official video above on Swift's YouTube.
The video is long on star power, featuring Lena Dunham, Jessica Alba, Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Mariska Hargitay, Ellen Pompeo, Martha Hunt, Serayah, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Hayley Williams, Zendaya, and Lily Aldridge. It's basically a 4 minute action movie, with lots of fight sequences and explosions.
The music video version of the song is actually more of a remix, as the 1989 album version didn't feature Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick calls back to his "Backstreet Freestyle" as he raps "Still, all my life, I got money and power" on a verse that captures the essence of the "Bad Blood" song.
1989 is available now and you can get it on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) or iTunes.
