I feel pretty bad for the guy that has to pick up after a Muse concert.

Known for their killer live performances, Muse took the stage at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend. Complete with streamers and confetti cannons, one might think the band was celebrating a birthday, but they were really just playing their latest single, "Mercy." The song is exactly what you would expect form Muse: epic climaxes, operatic vocals, and a bass line that keeps the song driving.

The single can be found on the band's new album Drones, a political record that aims to drop some of the band's recent electronic tendencies. "We probably spent more time in the control room, fiddling with knobs and synths and computers and drum machines than actually playing together as a band," says Bellamy of the band's last three albums. This time around, the band claims they want to return to their three-piece roots as much as possible: bass, guitar, and drums.

If you live in Britian, Muse's full set can be streamed at the BBC's official website.

Muse's upcoming album Drones, drops on June 8, 2015, and their last album, The 2nd Law is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
