Not only can rock band Clutch play some great heavy music, but now they can add acting to their resume! Above, you can watch their music video for "X-Ray Visions," a track from Clutch's upcoming studio album, Psychic Warfare.

Lead singer Neil Fallon spoke with Billboard about what it was like to work with director Dan Winter for the music video:

We're not a band that's at all comfortable acting in a video. That's probably the most acting we've ever done in a video. We're very comfortable with Dan; we've known him since 1993, really, but we feel most comfortable when we have our instruments in our hands. It's really his brainchild and he kind of made it up as he went along. The song has a very kind of specific narrative to it, with very specific things that happen, and the lyrics aren't particularly vague. I think Dan latched onto that by taking it as a springboard to one very literal interpretation and then to more vague ideas.

Singer Neil Fallon stars as a scientist while the rest of the band pounds out the heavy song in lab coats. We see a subject under observation to see if he can move objects with his mind, and no mad scientist clip can be complete without an attractive female assistant.

Pick up Psychic Warfare on Amazon (Vinyl, CD).

Recently, the band has added tour dates with Judas Priest and a few headlining dates as well. For more tour information, as well as their latest music and news, check out their Zumic artist page.
