Equipped with an eloquence beyond his years, 19 year-old Raury has teamed up with fellow Atlanta rapper Key! to create some daring new beats in "Trap Tears." Check out his latest music video above, via YouTube.

The song opens with a classical guitar loop, supported by a muffled drum below before the tune evolves into a full-fledged hook ("It ain't nothin' but them tears in the trap.")

Raury uses this heady beat to throw down a heavily syncopated flow where he raps about some desperate situations that people living in ghettos are forced to deal with on a daily basis. As Raury suggests in the song, the families mentioned were involved in the "trap," using the term both literally and metaphorically to describe their plight. This offers an alternative perspective than the glorification of the Trap lifestyle often heard in mainstream hip-hop.

With such a strong command of experimental and pop sensibilities, one has to wonder what the future holds for Raury's creative path.
