Philadelphia shoegazers Nothing are back with a Nickolas Schuller directed music video for "ACD (Abscessive Compulsive Disorder)" off their upcoming album, Tired of Tomorrow. Watch it above.

Frontman Domenic Palermo spoke with Independent about the video and how it relates to classic rock band Dire Straits:

Well I have a psychopath friend from Modesto, CA named Nick. He sends me rap songs and movie scripts he’s created, but recently mentioned he was dabbling around in computer graphics.

I have been watching a lot of dank shit in the darkest parts of the Internet. Much of this is your run of the mill, awful footage that makes you remember how frail our human bodies are, but some are these odd, home-made computer animations doing strange things that give you an uneasy feeling, but also one of pure evil and chaos. I’m not sure what's so appealing about them, but it can go on for hours at a time, especially having enablers like Brandon in the band.

Anyway, I tried to explain this to Nick and basically just let him run with it, with only one real request which was to have it nod to Dire Straits’ "Money For Nothing" video.

"ACD" is more assertive than the other two with forceful drums and rowdy guitars, but still upholds Nothing's usual hazy vocals over audio feedback. Along with the new track, the band also shared a handwritten lyric sheet on their Facebook page.

Nothing also released "Vertigo Flowers" and "Eaten By Worms" as singles leading up to the album. Tired of Tomorrow is their second full length and follow up to their breakthrough LP, Guilty of Everything.
