The Alabama Shakes recently teamed up with Genero to give aspiring filmmakers the opportunity to make a music video for the band's song "Gimme All Your Love," with the winning director receiving $10,000 and two runner-ups receiving $2,500 each.
Above, you can watch the winning selection picked from over 100 submissions, directed by Larry Ismail and Marie-Laure Blancho from France. The two runner-ups for the contest were Clayton McCracken and JJ Wong. All the videos can be seen at genero.tv.
The film features the song "Gimme All Your Love" by Alabama Shakes as its soundtrack and puts the spotlight on an elderly couple that express their love for one another throughout the video. The couple possesses a passion that can be seen through their dance and overcoming the subsequent hardships, which epitomizes the song title "Gimme All Your Love."
