CHVRCHES have released a new track called "Warning Call," which is the theme song on the upcoming video game Mirror's Edge Catalyst — due out on June 7 in North America and June 9 in Europe.
The open-world action-adventure video game allows players to travel across the dystopian city of Glass using martial arts and parkour to complete missions and defeat enemies. The track was written by CHVRCHES' lead singer, Lauren Mayberry, describing the main character's point of view. The band's synthpop music successfully complements the game's fantasy world by providing a futuristic ambience throughout "Warning Call." Check out a trailer for the game on YouTube.
