Danny Brown is making a dark and gritty comeback with "When It Rain," his first new music as lead artist since his Old album in 2013.
Rapping in his trademark off-kilter style, Brown is in full force on this track, delivering a rapid-fire screed about violence, greed, drugs, and poverty. The accompanying music video, directed by Mimi Cave and produced by Paul White, adds to the creeping feeling of dread that the track instills with choppy, strange images designed to look like old VHS footage.
