"Char" - Crystal Castles [YouTube Official Audio Single]

Undeterred by the departure of Alice Glass, Crystal Castles have continued to produce music with a new frontwoman named Edith Frances. The group recently shared a song titled "Char," which will be on their upcoming album, Amnesty. Listen above.

Crystal Castles are often acclaimed for their blend of grunge with a futuristic aesthetic. "Char" still contains that dark noisy sound; however, Edith Frances' vocal adds a slightly softer tone to the song's gloomy lo-fi electronic beat, which sets it apart from Crystal Castles' previous work.
