On July 29, a new documentary called MISS SHARON JONES! about the Brooklyn soul singer and her band, The Dap-Kings, will hit select U.S. theaters.
Directed by Barbara Kopple, it will highlight Jones’ 2014 album, Give the People What They Want, and overcoming a life threatening cancer diagnosis in 2013.
