Postmodern Jukebox have shared their latest video, covering Gloria Gaynor's disco classic "I Will Survive." Watch above on YouTube.

Sara Niemietz is a true powerhouse vocalist, and she really nails this one. Gloria Gaynor's classic 1978 tune has been played countless times over the decades and rightfully so. The song has great lyrics and a great dance groove. Gaynor's original vocal performance was gritty, soulful, sweet, and smooth, and Niemietz is able to capture those same emotions in her own way.

In this jazzy interpretation of the song, PMJ go back to the future with great performances all around. The disco beat is replaced by more of a swinging latin flavor with dynamic walking bass lines from Jonathan Richards. The string arrangement from the original are replaced by the horn section of Lemar Guillary and Stephen Spencer, and Spencer shows his versatility by breaking out a flute midway through without missing a beat. Scott Bradlee and his band continue to amaze!
