Indie phenoms Bon Iver have released a gloomy lyric video for the interestingly titled new song — "33 'GOD’" — listen above on YouTube.

"33 'God’" — which is 3 minutes and 33 seconds — is the 3rd track unveiled from the group's upcoming 22, A Million LP. Earlier in August, Bon Iver released a couple of less pop-oriented singles with even stranger names: "10 d E A T h b R E a s T ⚄ ⚄" and "(OVER S∞∞N)."

The track is built from an array of processed synths and samples, demonstrating frontman Justin Vernon's studio wizardry. Eschewing conventional song structure, the song alternates back and forth between soft, melancholy verses featuring piano and guitars alongside Vernon's trademark filtered vocals, and louder passages heavy with drums and electronic bass.

WhoSampled.com lists the eclectic audio samples as Paolo Nutini's soulful 2014 track "Iron Sky" and Jim Ed Brown's 1970 country hit recording of "Morning."

22, A Million is scheduled for release on September 30, 2016. Pick it up on Amazon.
