Avicii Live at Tomorrowland 07.27.2013

I love watching Avicii play a set - he slips in and out of these transient, almost meditative states while he moves, mouths lyrics and rouses a crowd. A hit in this set from Tomorrowland is Calvin Harris' "Sweet Nothing" which Avicii mixes up before he delivers "Nothing Inside" (Sander van Doorn ft. Mayaeni), "Reload" (Sebastian Ingrosso) and his own "Hey Brother."

Watching these Tomorrowland day and night sets it's clear that this is the outdoor dance concert to save your money for. The stage is a modern Coliseum, overwhelming a lagoon of 35,000 dancers and ravers. It looks like a natural wonder, a rock formation or maybe the side of a volcano. Within, it holds a most powerful lighting system, fog machine system, speakers and screens of which the power and quality simply blow other concerts out of the sea. The lights move from blue and green to a warm orange and even warmer red. The talent of Avicii on stage along with the lighting, fog, and other stage production gives me goosebumps watching it from my seat in front of a laptop screen.
