Post Malone's new song "Congratulations," which features a melodic verse from Quavo of Migos, is more about relief and self-satisfaction than it is about arrogance.

The lyrics glorify wealth to a certain extent, but Malone's romanticism of monetary success is coupled with a deeper feeling of achievement that underscores the tone of the music, which is understated, hazy, and climactic without being overly dramatic.

The video has a similar aesthetic. Scenes of friendly artistic collaboration trade with cathartic visuals of confetti and Malone smashing a TV with a baseball bat. The song's producers Metro Boomin, Frank Dukes, and Louis Bell make cameo appearances, as well as other members of Migos and Murda Beatz.

The song, while undeniably catchy, can also be appreciated on a separate level given that its underlying message is one of human achievement and its subsequent rewards.
