Avenged Sevenfold's new album, Hail to the King, will be released on August 27, but the video for the title track is available right now. Following the death of The Rev, the band's drummer and primary songwriter, this is the band's first full album to be written without him. "Hail to the King" shows Avenged Sevenfold heading in a new direction musically, straying from their old rapid-fire riffs and drums to more of a straight-ahead early heavy metal sound. The album is supposedly made to sound more like 90s metal music, and "Hail to the King" makes it clear that Avenged Sevenfold know what they're doing.
