Russia has managed to temporarily top their craziness. An official musical group of members of the Russian ministry of internal affairs has released their cover of Daft Punk's "Get Lucky." While this might seem like a joke, this group is completely serious about what they're doing. After watching the video I gotta say I am impressed with their production.

These guys manage to create a pretty faithful choral cover of the song, all while giving the video enough awkward glances and shots of uncomfortable looking officers to make anyone laugh. My favorite touch is the choral director keeping time in the side of the stage for the duration of the video.

Some pretty serious special effects are also employed, such as smoke machines, fancy editing and well set up lights. Hopefully these officers will cover a few more great songs of this summer. Anyone ready for a Russian version of Blurred Lines?
