Electro-funk duo Chromeo recently released the official music video for their groovy, 80s'inspired track "Come Alive." Directed by Alex Southam, the video features Chromeo's David Macklovitch dancing his way through a department store after being stood up by his date for the night.
After meeting up with Chaz Bundick (a.k.a. Toro y Moi) and some necessary group dancing, the two proceed to exhibit their supernatural powers by brining all of the store mannequins to life. I guess that's why they call it "star power." Spoiler alert: the duo's late-night hokum ultimately backfires on them, and I think there's a lesson to be learned here... don't get weird with inanimate objects.
"Come Alive" will appear on Chromeo's forthcoming album, White Women. It has no set release date as of yet, but stay tuned for any updates.
