The well-known Mexican-American guitarist Carlos Santana has teamed up with Colombian funk trio ChocQuib Town and Jamaica's own Ziggy Marley for the remake of Bob Marley's '70s "Iron Lion Zion."

Carlos' remake remains consistent with Bob Marley's original song. The upbeat rhythm and tempo are the same, yet the Latin flare enhances it. Ziggy and ChocQuib Town's Gloria "Goyo" Martínez contributed by keeping the lyrics consistent with Bob and The Wailers.

Of course Santana graced the song with his amazing strumming skills, which were used to replace the original's sax solo. ChocQuib Town's Miguel "Slow" Martínez and Carlos "Tostao" Valencia also threw in some Latin rap verses.

"Iron Lion Zion" is Santana's third single off of his forthcoming album, Corázon. The album will be released on May 6th, 2014 and can be pre-ordered on iTunes.
