The always humble singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has blown us all away once again. Sheeran premiered "Take It Back" from his upcoming album, X at a charity concert in March and he recently performed the single at SBTV's studios.
Despite the opening lines of the song: "I'm not a rapper / I'm a singer with a flow," "Take It Back" features Sheeran effortlessly rapping and singing while playing a guitar. Much like his song "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" from his debut album, +, Sheeran raps about his personal struggles and his rise to fame. For someone who denies being a rapper, songs like "Take It Back" prove that this Brit would certainly hold his own against some of the big dogs in the rap game. Perhaps we'll even be treated to more of Sheeran's speedy rapping skills in his upcoming album. Check out the performance above and pre-order X on iTunes.
