Idina Menzel gained notoriety after John Travolta incorrectly introduced her as Adele Dazeem before her Oscar performance of the award winning song "Let It Go" from Disney's Frozen. David Letterman took the opportunity to ask Menzel how she felt about Travolta's mistake.

Menzel was in good spirits about the situation, saying, "It was quite demoralizing for about 8 seconds. I felt so sorry for myself. I thought, you know, this was my opportunity and he just wrecked my name. Then I said, 'get over yourself. You're at the oscars. You have this amazing song. You can back it up and sing it live. Just do your thing and forget about it!'"

Idina Menzel was recently given a Tony nomination for her performance in If/Then. You can get tickets for the musical on the If/Then official website.
