"Woke Up To The Light" - Strand of Oaks At The Berlin Wall [YouTube Video]

On a recent visit to Berlin, Philadelphia folk rocker Timothy Showalter, otherwise known as Strand of Oaks, paid a visit to the Berlin Wall and performed an acoustic version of "Woke Up To The Light." The tune is from his recent album, HEAL, which you can listen to here on Zumic. Watch the performance above.

It's a chilled-out session with Timothy strumming an acoustic guitar on a beautiful sunny day. The camera shots are nothing fancy, but they serve the purpose of delivering an intimate performance of the song and focusing on Tim's soulful voice. The Berlin Wall has had its fair share of music history associated with it -- Bruce Springsteen and U2 -- and now it can include Mr. Showalter.
